Calhoun On-Site Admissions
The School Counseling and Wellness Center will offer on-site admissions interviews for seven local colleges this year. This is a unique opportunity for seniors who are considering these schools to apply, interview, and then receive a response from the admissions counselor. Students will also receive information regarding merit scholarships for which they may qualify. In addition, the application fee for these schools may be waived.
Appointments will be limited so please sign up early!
On-site admissions meetings will be held in- person in the counseling center or virtually in the counseling center via Zoom between Nov 17th and Dec 6th. The calendar with pertinent information is on the next page(s).
Please follow the guidelines below prior to scheduling an appointment:
ALL appointments must be made PRIOR (through Mr. Posner) –the admissions representatives will not be able to accommodate same day meetings.

- Students need to join each school’s individual Remind group (as listed) and email Mr. Posner ASAP which schools they plan on signing up for on-site: [email protected] Mr. Posner will email you with a time slot for your college appointment.
- Regarding test scores (SAT or ACT), students must print out scores on their own. If students are submitting test scores, a copy of the scores from the testing agency’s website must be handed in with the application.
- In addition to the completed and submitted application and test scores, one letter of recommendation and your transcript is required. You MUST fill out a blue transcript request form, requesting this information. Transcript request forms can be found in the Registrar’s Office.
